With Aamir being criticized for expressing his opinions and ShahRukh Khan being called an 'outsider' so many times, Sonakshi Sinha being shamed on social networks, and with several other actors and actresses at the receiving end of public as well as media flak, what we often tend to forget is that these actors do not have a greater responsibility towards the country than you and I do. And it's obviously not their job to express thoughts and opinions on everything that is happening in our country.
Speaking on why it's not their job to take a stand on everything that happens around them, the leading ladies of Bollywood make a solid point on The Actresses Roundtable with Rajeev Masand. Kalki Koechlin says summarizes the whole debate and we all should agree. This is what she says, "For every actor to be an activist on everything is ridiculous."
